Richard Maloy, Jr., CIC CRM Chairman and CEO
Mr. Maloy is the fifth generation of the family to lead Maloy
Risk Services, which was founded in 1872 by his great, great
grandfather Joseph Maloy. Based in Princeton and New York City,
Mr. Maloy runs one of the oldest continually family operated
insurance agencies in the country. Mr. Maloy retooled the agency
in 1995 to focus solely on niche industry sectors and specialized
in providing risk management and insurance placement services
to emerging growth companies in specific industry groups. He
is a recognized leader among Technology, Life Science, Venture
Capital, and Hedge Fund industries.
Mr. Maloy seeking to leverage the internet to streamline insurance
application processing created InsureHiTech, an online brokerage
and technology company in the summer of 2000. He completed
two rounds of venture capital financing for the operation in
2000 and 2001 totaling $14 million in investment. After 7 years
of development, the software platform was sold to Cover All
Technologies, in 2007.
In 2004, Mr. Maloy created TriPro Managers, an insurance wholesale
brokerage operation to augment Maloy Risk Services retail brokerage
operations. TriPro Managers assists retail brokers in the placement
of specialty professional liability coverage for Technology,
Life Science,Venture Capital and Hedge Fund industries. In
addition to supporting Maloy Risk Services, TriPro works with
hundreds of brokers around the country providing market access
and insurance placement expertise.
Prior to running Maloy Risk Services and founding InsureHiTech
and TriPro Managers, he spent more than 10 years in sales with
Maloy Insurance, and another four years as president of its
technology division. Mr. Maloy is a Certified Insurance Counselor,
Certified Risk Manager and serves on the Board of Directors
of the New Jersey Technology Council and is a past Alumni Advisory
Board member of Wake Forest University. Mr. Maloy, an avid
marathoner and triathlete is a member of the NY Road Runners
Club and Terrier Tri, a triathlon club in New York City. Mr.
Maloy holds a BA from Wake Forest University.

Daniel R. McGrath, CIC,
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. McGrath is the Chief Operating Officer for Maloy Risk Services and is responsible for key client management, organizational management, and sales initiatives.
Prior to joining Maloy Risk Services in 2000, Mr. McGrath was Vice President of Business Development for a national on-site medical management company. From 1990-1997, Mr. McGrath held various property & casualty sales positions at Liberty Mutual in the Middle Market and National Sales departments in New Jersey and New York City, specializing in large company multi-line risk financing programs. Mr. McGrath began his career as a Settlement Specialist with Merrill Lynch in New York.
Dan holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation and is enrolled in the Certified Risk Manager Program. His insurance specialties include professional/E&O liability, Directors & Officers liability, international clinical trial liability, loss sensitive workers compensation programs, and other insurance products specific to the life science, technology, hedge and venture fund industry sectors.
Mr. McGrath received his MBA in Finance from Baruch College in New York City and BA from Valparaiso University in Indiana. He serves on the Board of Trustees for The Princeton Tennis Program and is a coach for Pop Warner football and CYO basketball. Dan enjoys family hiking trips, tennis, triathlon, and golf. Mr. McGrath resides in Hillsborough, NJ with his wife and two children.

Tim Capasso, CIC, Vice
President of Sales
Mr. Capasso is responsible for new business
production, risk management analysis and key client management
for Maloy Risk Services. Since coming to Maloy Risk Services
in 1999 he has focused his expertise in developing risk management
programs and insurance placement services to companies in the
emerging growth, private equity, construction and real estate
industries.
Prior to joining Maloy Risk Services in 1999, Mr. Capasso was
a Senior Account Manager for 10 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance
Company in their Middle Market Property & Casualty Sales
Department located in New York City.
Mr. Capasso received his
BA from St. John’s University
in Jamaica, NY and holds the Certified Insurance Counselors
designation. He resides in River Edge, NJ with his wife and
two children.
